Nokia 5800 is the first mobile phones that using the touch screen in its operation menu. If it is compared with its competitor, the size of Nokia 5800′s screen is not so wide but the existed design of screen with only one side of glass surface and removing of keypad makes the existed screen of this mobile phones looks very wide.

The existed button that is left in the surface is call button, menu and end call. To activate the mobile phones there is a specialized button in the right top of the mobile phone. Nokia also prevent you from accidentally touch the touch screen so that they placed the key lock slot in the right side of mobile phone. The offered color of Nokia 5800 is available in pearl-black, red and blue.

This type of Nokia is using the newest symbian which is S60 fifth edition. That is why the structure of menu is quite different with its previous invention. Almost the whole icon in home screen is using as shortcut. The most interested things that is added in this mobile phone is the existence of contact bar where we would be able to input 4 contact number that we usually called and this menu would be able to show the call record up to the updates of contact’s blog.
